Dr. Tyson is originally from Coleman, Texas where he practiced for three years before moving to Amarillo and joining AFPC in 2001. He and his wife, Sheri, have six children who keep them very busy. Away from work, Dr. Tyson enjoys playing keyboard at church. He is also an avid angler and outdoorsman. Dr. Brister was born in Roswell, NM and raised in New Mexico, Colorado, North Dakota, and California. Before joining AFPC in 1990, Dr. Brister practiced in El Campo, TX and an urgent care clinic in Amarillo. He and his wife, Lydia have four children and six grandchildren. He enjoys music, outdoor activities, and is bilingual. The Bristers are active in their church.

Dr. Bravo was a staff physician at Winslow Indian Health Service in his native Arizona before moving to Amarillo. He also practiced at an urgent care clinic in Amarillo before joining AFPC in 1998. Dr. Bravo is married to Tonya and they have three children and eight grandchildren. Dr. Bravo enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and backpacking.

Dr. Allman grew up in Dalhart and returns to the panhandle with her husband, James, who is also a physician. They have two children. Dr. Clark grew up in Amarillo attending Amarillo High School and Amarillo College. She wanted to return to her hometown to practice and be near her family. Dr. Clark joined AFPC in 2012. Dr. Clark is married to husband Kory and has a stepdaughter. She is active at her church and is a member of Faith builders.
Dr. Clark enjoys working out, traveling with her husband and time with her two French Bulldogs, Golden Beau, and chihuahua Diamond.

Before coming to Amarillo Family Physicians Clinic in 2016, he was a Hospitalist in Borger, Texas. He and his wife, Courtney enjoy going to church, traveling, exercising together, and spending time with family and their two dogs. Dr. Salcido enjoys writing and playing music, biking, running and the great outdoors.

Dr. Burson was born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Colorado and Louisiana. Before moving to Amarillo in 2020, she was in solo private practice in Ardmore, Ok for 18 years. During that time, she was Chief of Staff of Mercy Hospital and proud to be the Director of two Nursing Homes.
She and her husband, Tim, have two children and enjoy being active in their church.

Dr. Ayala enjoys working out and was a personal trainer during her undergraduate years.

Tonia, a twin, is married to Trae and has four children. Her family is active in The Church at Quail Creek. She grew up in Dalhart.
Before joining Amarillo Family Physicians Clinic in 2015, she had thirteen years experience employed in urgent care clinics, an orthopedic office, and rural health clinics.
When she has time to herself she enjoys running, reading, and gardening.

Biographical:
Before joining Amarillo Family Physicians Clinic in 2018, Allison worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for several years in a rural health clinic. She also worked as a RN doing Medical-Surgical nursing specializing in surgery which included bariatric procedures and trauma. She also has experience as a Home Health nurse specializing in Palliative Care.
Allison enjoys spending time with her family, husband Cory and her two children. Allison also enjoys watching sports including basketball and football, and gardening with her husband. Allison and her family attend Grace church.

Dr. James Spurlock was a co-founder of the Clinic in 1978. He served Amarillo from 1979 until retirement in 2017. He continues to serve as President Emeritus at Amarillo Family Physicians Clinic.
